Can I Still Get Pregnant If I Have PCOS?
Women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) can become pregnant. But it is often challenging because women may go many months without ovulating (producing an egg). Weight loss alone can improve the chances of becoming pregnant. Women with PCOS who wish to become pregnant often need medication to help increase the frequency of ovulation. When pregnancy is not happening with ovulation induction therapy, other methods, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), can be considered.
