Your article on new immunizations for adults was helpful. I got my booster for tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough, but even though I’m 61, my doctor didn’t want to give me the shingles vaccine because I’ve already had it. Should I get the vaccine?

By the way, doctor: Can exercise and diet cure diabetes?

I read about a study at UCLA in which men with type 2 diabetes were in a program combining aerobic exercise, low-fat diets, and relatively high amounts of “good” carbohydrates. Half of them cured their diabetes. Is this possible?

The prep is worse than the procedure
