Can an ectopic pregnancy result in a full-term pregnancy?

An ectopic pregnancy usually occurs in a fallopian tube but can also occur in other areas of the body such as the ovary, abdominal cavity, or cervix. An ectopic pregnancy cannot proceed normally to a full-term pregnancy.
